Our GoalOur goal is to create fine hand-forged, useful and decorative products for your home, principally out of steel but also incorporating wood and non-ferrous metals as appropriate. The work shown on these pages is solely the work of Robert J. Askren, (with the minor exceptions of fasteners, mortise locks, and whisk brooms). We do not design products and have them mass-manufactured elsewhere - they are made in our own shop. Accordingly we have complete control over design, materials, and dimensions. (However, this means our output may be limited). If you see a product you like but it won't quite fit your space, let us know and we can make it fit. See Contact Information immediately below Shows.
